Covid-19 Vaccine Interest Lists
Age 5-11 Years
Age 6 months - 4 years
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 to include children 5 through 11 years of age. PANF has been allotted vaccine by the MA DPH and we are holding periodic vaccine clinics. Use the buttons above to sign up your children to get vaccinated.
The doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses at PANF strongly encourage all of our eligible patients to get vaccinated against COVID-19. While COVID-19 infection in children, in general, is not as severe as in adults, to date, in the US, over 700 children have died from COVID-19, and over 24,000 children have been hospitalized. Vaccinated individuals are much less likely to become infected and spread the infection to others. Vaccinating our children will not only protect them, but it will protect their parents, grandparents, siblings too young to be vaccinated, coaches, teachers, neighbors, and yes….their doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses who have put their health on the line, and cared for your children throughout this awful pandemic.
PANF currently ONLY have vaccine doses for children ages 5-11. Children age 12+ can get vaccinated at local pharmacies. Children 6 m -4 yr, please sign up on the interest list and we will contact you when available.
The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine is a 2 shot series. The 2nd dose must be at least 21 days after the first dose. (it can be more than 21 days)
Please DO NOT CALL our office to book a COVID-19 vaccine. Use the links above to sign-up. Our phones are already extremely busy related to the pandemic and calling will prevent parents of sick children from getting through.
Lactation Consulting Now Available at PANF
Breast milk is considered the optimal nutrition for infants in the first year of life. Sometimes, making breastfeeding successful for both the infant and the mother is difficult. A international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) can help ease the process. PANF is excited to announce that our terrific nurse practioner, Pam Bajada NP IBCLC , is now a certified lactation consultant. Pam is available for lactation consulting to all nursing mothers or mothers who plan to nurse. Call the office or ask your doctor about it at your baby’s next check up.
